It only took this family generation to learn how to make amazing gumbo.
I just made homemade ceasar salad myself with anchovies, egg yolk, parm, Worcestershire sauce, tobasco, olive oil, fresh cracked pepper, lemon juice and fish sauce. Let me tell you, you’ve never eaten good Caesar dressing if it isn’t made homemade and fresh.

Sauce is to thick
I have guests in town soon. Ceviche's one of my fav & didn't think to make it until now. Looks goood I wouldn't allow plastic to melt into the acidic lime juice though. Cam on!

It's a version of lemon beurre blanc. Delicious on everything. Even makes shit food taste better.

Just add either Broccoli flourettes or Snap Peas.
You can bypass the corn starch slurry as a thickener by adding very little instant potato flakes. A Jacques Pepin trick.
It needs some Thai chili's.

I make chicken and pork stock for my restaurant almost every day, getting cloudy doesn't affect the taste and presentation at all, I even squeeze the meat on a strainer to get those extra juices out, so I don't know what's the fuzz about it, but skimming those scum out before it gets to a boil is a must.

Interesting. Basic chinese chicken soap needs to have ginger instead.
No aromatics but onion... sure, it might be great, but no. That's like non-melanated people trying to make meatloaf. Don't do that unless you're making something to build upon.

I make a low fat, high protein, version of flan called tofu pudding. I top it with caramelized sugar syrup. Tastes almost the same and I don't feel guilty eating it.
Was the shrimp cooked or Raw???
I would add some pasta like an linguine or some noodles In that pan with the shrimp and all , that would be perfect 🤟
